*Monday: Ran 2 miles in 17 min 45 sec.
The Firm Ab Workout-30 min.
*Tuesday: Ran 2 miles in 17 min 45 sec. ::::I tried so hard to break my time and just couldn't do it. I couldn't believe I ran it the SAME EXACT time as on Monday...so weird!!!
*Wednesday: Ran 2 miles in 18 min 30 sec. ::::It was a hard run but I was glad to finish. =)
*Thursday: Ran 2 miles in 18 min flat. ::::I was happy to have beat my time from Wednesday...knees were getting a little sore.
*Friday: Ran 2 miles in 17 min. 27 sec. ::::YAY!!! I was so happy to beat all my times from this week today. I think the trick was to sprint at the very beginning instead of starting of at a slow pace. I still managed to keep my "normal pace" the rest of the way and then sprinted the end...AHHHHH...felt so good to accomplish that!
So my new goal for the next week is to run the 2 miles in 17 min flat! This is going to be quite a challenge for me because I feel like I am already giving it my all. The entire time I'm running I just want to stop...haha...I'll work on that! =)
As far as eating goes, I'm doing great. No junk food! Jono and I stocked up on healthier snacks in the house like granola, slices of tomato, hard boiled eggs and for indulgences I always have dark chocolate on hand!!! I haven't put any sugar in my coffee this whole week but I still treat myself to creamer of course. I eat yogurt with wheat-germ for a yummy snack pretty often and lots of salad with avocado, tomato, cucumber, and sliced turkey lunch meat. I drizzle olive oil and vinager...mmmmm..so good! I'm not having trouble at all eating these foods. I'm not depriving myself of anything and I'm becoming healthier by doing all of this too! Sorry this was a little scattered with tons of random info. I just started typing everything I could think of...=)
Oh yeah...just to let you know, these are so yummy!!! They only have 1.5 grams of fat too! A very good dessert after dinner for your sweet tooth fix. Try em...you'll be HAPPY!
