Day 28

So far today I ran 2 miles in 17 min 15 sec. It was a hard run. It's 85 degrees (which I'm not used to running in the heat yet) and I have allergies. I still managed to do it though and I feel good about that. I've been eating pretty healthy lately but today is the first "real" exercise I've done in almost a week!!! Here I go again...it's a new day! =)

The good news is I've managed to lose 4-5 pounds in the last 28 days. I seriously didn't expect to do that this soon and also considering I don't feel like I've been completely, 100% dedicated. I'll take it though! Ha ha! Yeah, losing that much weight in a short amount of time feels good and it makes me want to stay on track even more. So, now I weigh about the same as I did last summer. The thing is, last summer I wanted to lose 5 pounds too. So, at this point, I am DEFINITELY losing 5 more pounds. Then, an additional 5 pounds after that would be a huge bonus too and a goal I want to make!!!

Like Susie said, it's not about how much you weigh, it's how you feel. I totally agree. I'm just using the number on the scale to gage my progress or changes in my body. I actually think the goal to fit into my white summer pants by June is more fun than weighing myself too.

Day 20

Oh my GOD...it's already day 20 in the Fat Loser Contest? There's only 72 more days until June 1. Also, 101 day's until I go on the "Young Family Yearly Beach Outing" for 2 weeks. That means I better stay focused!!!!! If I don't, I know I'll regret it as I'm sitting on the beach with all of my flab rolling over my bikini.....gross...hahahahaha! Sorry if I seem insecure. I am. Ha ha...I'm just kidding. I just want to work hard and be in great shape. Who doesn't want that kind of confidence? Knowing you achieved something like health and a fit body through hard work. I know that's what my goal in this contest is.

Day 19

Today was beautiful outside. The sky was blue, the sun was shining, and it was an average temperature of 73 degrees. Oh, did I mention that there was a plentiful amount of gentle breezes that felt like heaven when they touched my skin??? Ha ha! Anyway, this made it easy to go for my regular run. Day's like this is what makes living here in Charleston the best of the best! :)

With all that said, here are my stats for today:

I ran 2 miles in 16 min and 35 sec. It felt so good!

Day 18

I need support BAD!!! I didn't exercise again!!! Then I ate 2 hot dogs...not 1...but 2!!!!!!! They were big ones too! This will be the last of this gluttonous behavior. Time to take charge and be a true Fat Loser!!!

Day 17

Today I didn't do any exercise. I ate grilled ribs, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and coleslaw for dinner. I downed all that with lots of beer. Oh GOD...why????? I think I gained 10 pounds today!
